    Rolling Idle too high !

I tuned a frien 5.3 with cam and heads. Gen III cable TB

Idle great, no stalling on-off idle. P/N and gear idle is set and stays as commanded 800rpm.

On a stop, you let go the brake pedal, no accel input, and it climb rpms to about 1500+ rpm!!

You press the brake pedal and idle comes down to commanded value fast and steady.

When cruising also makes the same, you let go thortle, and it will act as if cruise control is engaged, also press brake pedal to complete stop and will go down fast and smooth.

Is there a way to tune thar roll idle out?

Throtle cracker? Thrtle follower? Any other?

    Any tip welcome.

    Regards

Is the brahe vacuum booster leaking? Normally i would think the rpm would be high all the time if it had a vacuum leak but since you're messing with the tune you may be affecting its response.

Sent you 37 emails, so....where is the catch? Lol

I'll try what you said, but hitting the TF instead of TC don't make sense in my analog brain.

Thanks for your time bro...I know that between the Protologist appoiment and the emails, and defying acceleration laws you must be crazy !

    Fixed.

Lowe values in TF, 0 values in TF, and smother values in the RAF tables.

Off gas stady at 1000rpm, brake full, idle return smooth.

    Thanks all for the help.

My first gunshot was Vaccum. No luck there.

Tonight I'll try to 0 the Throttle Cracker, and smoth down the Throtle Follower.

Rafs are pretty much on dot, but I'll test lowering some grams if the above table adders do squat !

Thanks Greg for the pointer !
