an ls miata. i have the motor and i am not starting the hunt for a donor car. from what i have heard and look at they are easy to build and super fast when they are done.

I'm about to start on my 80 after I make the finishing touches on the GOAT. I'm in the same boat as you. I don't know if I want to resto-mod and keep it factory looking, or resto-mod it and chop it down to a short bed and go all out. It's my jelly's(granddad) truck and there is a lot of bad blood between me, my dad and older half-brother over it. It's the truck I learned to drive in and the truck is priceless to me as far as sentimental value goes. I guess it's a good thing times are a little tough with the mrs not having a job or it would have already been cut up possibly.Workin on an '81 chev.
