well a few days ago i did somethin dumb and took my neg battery cable off and my key was on.
when i put the battery cable back on and the gas gauge is stuck on ''E''
So today i changed the sending unit in the tank today and that didnt fix it, so i swapped gauge clusters thinkin the stepper motor on the gas gauge went out but that wasnt it either...now im out of ideas...HELP

I believe it is. You pop'd something.

So you changed the fuel sending unit?

    Gauge cluster?

Since you did both of those already, its going to be either a loose ground or some fuse / relay is dead. (IMO)

No fuse or relay. Gauge is commanded by PCM.

Wiring issue as stated before. Only other possible is a bad "new" part.

If it's controlled by the pcm, maybe you sent a voltage spike through the wiring for the gauge into the pcm and toasted it. Find and check the wires to the pcm, and see if they're doing what they're supposed to be doing?
