If it's controlled by the pcm, maybe you sent a voltage spike through the wiring for the gauge into the pcm and toasted it. Find and check the wires to the pcm, and see if they're doing what they're supposed to be doing?
yep changed the sending unit and the gauge cluster...im thinking it is a fuse i missed or a pcm problem
could be a bad new part, i dont think its a wiring problems since it was working fine before i disconnected the battery
i got a buddy with an 02 pcm ill stick it in and see if it fixes it....ill keep yall posted and thanks again for the help!
