    Scammer On Craigs List

The ''name'' of the person who tried to scam me was Robert Leo. OF course they may use different names. The buyer first tells you that communication is through email only cause they are deaf. Second they will inform you that you will be getting a check for a much higher amount because their secretary made a mistake. (Ex. I got a $2,400 check for $140 item) They ask you to cash the check and western union them back the difference and they will arrange someone to pick up the item. Well if you cash the check your account will bounce in a few days after they recieved the extra money. NO I DID NOT fall for this.

The check i recieved was from Texas, Ship from Address was FL. Hmmmmm makes sense right.

Just letting everyone know to watch out for these worthless sacks of crap who get off by trying to ruin other peoples lives.

Does the check cashing store cash 3rd party, non-payroll checks? If so they would require a lot of YOUR information. When the check you cashed bouces they'll take it out of your butt.

Get you a PO box and have them mail the check there and then sit on it. Don't do anything with it. Tell them it must have gotten lost in the mail and ask for another. Do this 4 or 5 times, maybe they'll get the message not to fool with you.

Yeah, they are everywhere. I'm usually rude to anyone asking about checks, shipping, etc. right from the get-go. I may be called an A-hole but I will never be called a sucka!
