Keep an eye on Casey's buildup, he's using the aluminum 4 barrel type intake, 90 degree elbow and 90mm TB. His is going together very soon.

    intake

    90 mm

    6.0 LQ9

works well on a 6.0 i first had it installed by TRT on a 5.3 just felt like something wasnt right, i wanted to stay N/A and then i ran across an awesome deal on a LQ9 and wanted to up the compression so i pulled my patriot stage 2 heads off 706 casting and installed them on the 6.0 raised the compression up to around 11:5:1 but not really not foresure on that number but i know its over 11:1 was rather easy set up, i run 42 # injectors dont know where the duty cycle is just yet, but will find out soon enough..as for hooking it up it was rather easy.. i can take more pics if you like to show you wher everything hooked up at if you like ...

wow, talk about restriction. That 90mm needs the elbow opened up quite a bit, doesn't it!

correct red, actually you cant see it but it had a spacer between throttle body and elbow, which i didnt use, just something i made when i was on nights at work, but the elbow was redone, i'll see if i can find the pic.. where the air intake is flush all the way around .

ok, u guys know what im about to ask, will this work on my truck, or is it more suited to forced induction? im looking for any new upgrades that benefit performance and look really cool under the hood, and that setup looks awsome. im willing to do any upgrades that might have to go with the conversion. any input even negative, would be helpful.
