LOL!!!! Ricky, you will have one of the best light holders in the business! It was hilarious--Alan was named the "DLB"---the Designated Light Bitch. He did a great job illuminating all of the right places...hehehe.

SO...you want us to do your swap? Hmmm... There is a lot involved lady! We worked pretty much all weekend and Moze's truck is running and it just needs for the tune to be further calibrated... But anyway, like Red and Casey explained--going from a V6 to a V8 is pretty intense. The only way that you could really make it worth while is to get all of the BS out of the way first...as in e-fans, fuel pump, removing the old wiring, taking the old motor and tranny out, fabricating a new crossmember, etc. If you got all of that done and came up with a bare truck that was 100% ready to have the new motor dropped in and wiring harness ready, then it can be done in a really long weekend. Plus, you would also have to consider the 8+ hours of drive time involved... I am not saying we won't do it--its just that unless you prep the whole truck for immediate drop-in, there is no way we could get it all done this upcoming weekend. You would need to take a week of your own "off time" and prep the truck and then give us a few days... IT's possible, but there is a lot of work involved from your end of the deal to get it ready so we can do as much as we can up here...

from what i have been reading its fairly easy with a group of guys

take out old motor an tranny. take out old motor mounts put new ones in and drop in the new stuff. might have to change the cross member. then put in the new fuel pump, and filter, mount the ls1 fans. do some wiring. im looking to at least get the motor an tranny in. and the fuel pump done. the rest i am sure i can get done at my place with out getting bothered by the cops

Its a bit of work. Takes me a full week to convert one here at the house. Without a lift, its quite a bit tougher that when we did Billy's. Took me probably two weeks to complete mine in spare time.

Yeah, this took a full weekend with a good crew, and that was a straight swap. Yours entails quite a bit more...that's going to be a take it to a pro and pick it up when he's done I think. Sorry buddy.
