I'd use the camaro fbody pan, the truck pan is too low, may cause issues.
here is one, gm hi tech just called it an ls1 oil pan in their latest issue, so i'm assuming it's an fbody pan.
it show dimensions as well, http://www.jegs.com/i/GM+Performance...12593/10002/-1

    ls oil pan

If you're putting an LS engine into a 99+ truck why not just use a 99+ truck oil pan? They can be found cheap on ebay, much cheaper than the f-body pan.
1991 Silverado-L33 5.3L, 212/218 .557 .562 115+4, ASP under drive pulley,180* thermostat, 90mm truck intake w/ LS3 throttle body. Shoenfeld conversion headers and duel Flowmaster exhaust. Performabuilt LVL 1 transmission and 23-2500 stall converter.

Exactly what I did. Found a brand new take-off for $49. Thanks!

I've read several threads stating to apply rtv to the 'corners' when installing a new gasket (I bought a Felpro). Kind of vague. Are we talking about the 4 most outward corners of the pan or every bend/corner? Top and bottom of gasket? Apply how long of a bead away from the corners? I really only want to do this once. lol. Any specfic rtv? As usual, thanks in advance!
