Dude I wonder if thats the problem with my truck. Mine only has a problem when the battery dies as well! Imma try it when I do my cam swap! If you just fixed my truck Ill actualy owe you guys one. Even though I am kinda stealing your thread. My friends always blaimed the tune... I always blaimed it on a bad ecu. But it would make sense if that was the real problem being how well it runs after it relearns the "adaptations" it takes to run.

That's probably whats wrong with mine, why it dies when I come to a stop, dirty MAF. Now if I could just find where the MAF is I'd clean it. I don't have one!Crappy amateur tuner is whats wrong with mine. I can put it in Neutral when I come to a stop and it does just fine.

I haft to swap my TB anyway when I do that cam swap. Imma put on a TBSS intake manifold when I do it. so ya know. Y not just do it all at one time. I usually make sure someone is around me that knows more then I do.... If you only knew how well I can screw something up that should of been simple you would understand.

Good call ^^^
BTW, ECM/PCM failures are extremely rare after about 1995 when the OBDII came out. Used to be the cause of half of any problem. Not so much. Not to scare anyone but 75% of the ECM/PCM's I've replaced in the last 10 or so years were fried by a handheld.....LOL, most often the 2003 new architecture.
