Tyler, I dont think it matters. An LQ9 half ton with a Nelson tune should be in the 13's as easy as a fat girl. If you are not then we need to see some logs.

Well, my nelson tune is a mail order tune. I wish that I was close enough to Nelson so I could get a live tune but that wont happen unless I take the wife on a vacation... Im just hoping it was just the weather when I got the 14.3. There was water sitting on the roof of the truck all night long with 75+ degree temps. The same night, my buddy with a ls2 GTO m6 ran a fastest time of 13.6, and that seems off especially with an intake and cat-back. Or maybe theres just somethin wrong with my truck...

Sorry HIC to come off like I was talking crap. I have just seen the term and was wondering what it meant. I joined in june and although I haven't posted much I don't mean any harm. I'm 21 and kinda new to performance modding. Again sorry for offending anyone. Thanks for the comment on my truck HIC

Logs? Why you wanna see is poop? You are disgusting. Ok, back on topic...
Hells yeah the temps matter. Everyone's truck will run slower if it is warmer outside or if the humidity is up. See, you might not fully understand this cause you know are making your own atmosphere...

I will post whore for a moment.. Your truck has a ton of potential and looks good as is!
Damn Bryan--calm yourself. The dude is a Newbie and doesn't know what flashing or brake stalling is all about. Go grab a drink, a smoke or a dip, try and get some booty from the wifey, and calm down.
BTW...we have a circle? Am I in it??? (please say yes!)

Heh, I was not trying to come off as a jerk! Sorry man, I have typed to much today! You did not come off as talking crap at all, I was just letting you know what the rules dont say - You did not offend me at all. I am glad to see you are actually interested in modding your truck, and knowing what something means before throwing terms out there. You will most likely never be flamed on this board for asking legit questions. As a matter of fact most of us follow the builds and give input and suggestions as if it where our own truck.

Tyler yes I know that temp and humidity effect times as does altitude, etc.. As for me creating my own atomosphere.. Its just a little bit of gas, nothing major!

WayFast, I am thinking you should deff be in the 13's with the new tuneup and LT's. BTW how much does your truck weigh?

Well I sure hope so. Im gonna wait until I know for sure the weather will be right. The nearest track is over a hour away... Bummer... The weather man is never right but its startin to cool off outside so maybe I can luck out.

As far as the weight I haven't checked it out yet. Its ecsb, 2wd, VHO 20's, tow package. So I have no idea... 5000lbs... but dont get me liein. I know it says on your reg. papers but the numbers on the door gvwr is the wieght of the truck fully loaded without a trailer behind it. Right?
