I used the 1/2 plates when I went 14 bolt, had to grind the radius out a little bit but they worked fine even with me hitting a 300 shot on them.

how was the center to center spacing on the plates for use on the bigger tube....or you must have used the 1/2 ton ubolts??

it was off a little bit. I really had no choice but to use the 1/2 plates since they had my caltrac mounts welded to them. Most people recommend to get new ubolts any time you take them loose since they rust and pit, plus they get bent and stretched as you torque them down.

how much did the caltracs help with hop, traction etc.? and did they cause you to lose any steetability or handling?? I see another company makes the Assasin bars....lots of adjustability in them but do you really need that much?

I didn't need the bars to stop wheel hop, only to help on my launch. I dropped about .2 on my 60ft times with them. I haven't tried the Assassin bars but I wouldn't blink an eye to go fo them, they look slick.
