    Fuel cell & walbro 255?

Hey guys, I just bought a walbro in-tank 255 fuel pump from NP, but I just came up with a diff idea, I'm thinking on buying a 5 gal fuel cell and TRY to install the walbro FP in the cell, then have a relay and a switch to activate the walbro in the fuel cell whenever I want to run with nitrous, this is because I use VP fuel when I use the nitrous and is a waste of $ and gas to add VP to my tank and not race.. That's why I would like to have a separate fuel cell.. Do any of you have any suggestion on how should I make the install, or if you think this will not work please let me know..
    Thanks in advance!

sounds like you may need some line locks too. Block off one tank when switched to the other. Cause wouldn't you have the chance of pumping fuel into the other tank. Right? Not sure, just popped into my head.

a 5 gallon cell is a little overkill for a dedicated fuel system, i only run about a 1 gallon fuel cell on my systems and along with the 255 FP you will also need a fuel pressure regulator

Here's my old setup i have already done another setup like this in the truck as of last week again....work flawlessly.

Hey bud, I already have an extra battery where your fuel cell is located at..
So, do you use a IN-LINE fuel pump in your setup?? Cause the one I ordered from NP it's a IN-TANK fuel pump.. That's my concern, how will I be able to hold it still in a 5gal fuel cell..

Hey guys, finally I came up with this idea..
Install the walbro fuel pump in my stock tank, and use my stock fuel pump in the 1Gal fuel cell hooked up to the nitrous selenoids..
I have a question, will does the stock fuel pump have enogh lbs to work in this setup?? Another question is, should I use a different wiring setup for the walbro FP? I'm asking that because they are supposed to work great when they are being supplied by 13.5v and I'm not sure if it will get that with my stock wiring..
    Any suggestions will help!!
    Thanks in advance!!

I always recommend putting something such as the racetronix.com hotwire kit in when you install an aftermarket fuel pump.

i think hes not thinking about making a standalone for just the nitrous, but for the whole fuel system. if im right, then thats unnecessary. just do something like virgil has, a separate system just for the nitrous kit. have a tank, pressure regulator and pump that goes to the fuel solenoid.
