    Fuel cell & walbro 255?

Hey guys, I just bought a walbro in-tank 255 fuel pump from NP, but I just came up with a diff idea, I'm thinking on buying a 5 gal fuel cell and TRY to install the walbro FP in the cell, then have a relay and a switch to activate the walbro in the fuel cell whenever I want to run with nitrous, this is because I use VP fuel when I use the nitrous and is a waste of $ and gas to add VP to my tank and not race.. That's why I would like to have a separate fuel cell.. Do any of you have any suggestion on how should I make the install, or if you think this will not work please let me know..
    Thanks in advance!

sounds like you may need some line locks too. Block off one tank when switched to the other. Cause wouldn't you have the chance of pumping fuel into the other tank. Right? Not sure, just popped into my head.

a 5 gallon cell is a little overkill for a dedicated fuel system, i only run about a 1 gallon fuel cell on my systems and along with the 255 FP you will also need a fuel pressure regulator

Here's my old setup i have already done another setup like this in the truck as of last week again....work flawlessly.

i think hes not thinking about making a standalone for just the nitrous, but for the whole fuel system. if im right, then thats unnecessary. just do something like virgil has, a separate system just for the nitrous kit. have a tank, pressure regulator and pump that goes to the fuel solenoid.

just run the seperate cell to the nitrous solenoid. I'm assuming you run atleast premium normally, so the race gas to solenoids will be plenty...that's where most of fuel comes from during spray anyway.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

the way i understood what he was saying was that he wanted to have a separate cell that he then fed the whole motor off of when he flipped the switch, not just the nitrous... but i guess he will have to let us know! haha

I read it the same way mitch, one tank for vp and one tank for regular fuel kinda like the old twin tank dually's, and thats why he went with a 5 gallon cell instead of a 1 gallon. Although going with the 1 gallon method would be much easier, wheres the fun in that?

Yeah, that's what I meant, a separate cell to fed whole motor.. That's why I thought of at least a 5 gal cell.. Cause a bunch of times HEMI guys ask me to race them ON MOTOR only, no nitrous, and I would like to be able to run VP even if I'm not racing with nitrous to help me out a little bit..
Yup, I use premium always but I'm pretty sure it doesn't even have 92octanes.. And I'm tuned for 93.. And that's the best gas I can get around here, OR VP..
