    so heres the deal im going down the road at 70 and my tach reads 2000rpms, i give it some gas and the rpms go up to 3500 with no acel. i hold the gas ped in the same spot to hold it at 3500rpms and the rpms go down to 2500 and den they go back up and i start to pick up speed. is the trans goin to go BOOM!
    please help with any fed back

    Check the fluid level.

    Then bend over & grab your ankles.

    Do you have a stall? If so, you may not be locking up the convertor. Check your fuses. There is one that powers the Torque Convertor Clutch. It also has a switch on the brake pedal that cuts off power to the TCC when you apply brake pedal pressure/motion.

    nope no stall, yet and i will check the fuse

    no bad fuses should get the KY out and bend over

    Yeah, sounds like you&#39;re about to lay out a few bucks. At least if it&#39;s stock you can pull it yourself and get it rebuilt to stock specs for about &#036;700 at most places.

    DAMN IT&#33; not how i whanted to spend the money for my truck bye bye cam, headers and pcm . but stall and trans w/ shift kit maybe.

    DOES IT DO IT IN ONLY ONE GEAR? DID YOU CHECK YOUR FLUID? MINE WAS LOW ON FLUID AND IT DID THAT ONCE. IT MAY BE TIME FOR A REBUILD.
