After a long process of cussing and yanking and yanking and cussing the SOB is finally laying on my driveway. The tranny will be taken to Garland soon for a full rebuild by Jerry's Transmissions. For those that know my situation, u know how BIG this really is. Anyways thought I'd let ya'll know what's up.

all this and it was raining and cold as hell in Waco yesterday. my dad helped me, we crawled onto the soaking wet ground and undid everything. coulda used a lift or something and im sure it have been easier but makes me appreciate it even more now that its out! cant wait to get it back and slap my 20's back on and see how she runs. ill be calling charlie soon after that to help calibrate everything.

Sounds like you'll be the first to be able to review one of Jerry's transmissions on the website. Hopefully the weather will be warmer and the ground a little less wet when it goes back in. When you're ready to install the transmission, I think I'd be asking to borrow the use of a lift for a few hours at your local body shop.

well, i think danny is gonna come back with my tranny after they finish it and help me put it back in. does this goebel guy have a daughter named melanie? if so his wife taught my math class and his daughter was valedictorian of our class in 2004. Red: well i didnt feel like going through the hassle of all that plus idk who would let me rent one out here in town without being an ass about it. im confident in jerry and im sure ill be able to post a good review in the coming months.

Not sure about his wife and daughter. I know he teaches transmission classes at a school around there. There use to be quite a few people around dfw using his trannys and verters, probably still are.
