    does anyone know the size of the Throttle Body inlet...... i found something im going to try and need to know the size... its raining outside and im not really wanting to get out...

    also is the MAF really needed... i know thats dumb and really is needed... but i found a c5 short ram air intake that i want to modify a little... its under $50 and figured i would take a shot at it...

    cmon people someone has to know.... is it 3.5 inches?? thats what i see on alot of TB's, but not sure about ours

    i think the tb is 78mm and yes you can run without the maf...have allen sd tune your truck...he's running his av in sd....

    sorry i didnt specify.... i meant outside diameter.... i found an air intake that i could possibly use, but has a 3.5 inch coupler that connects the intake to the TB

    Yeah the inside is like 78mm but the outside is about 3-7/8"(edited to correct diameter). Do you need to know the exact size? I can grab a set of calipers and measure it for you. I think I posted the sizes here a few years ago. Where were you? Don&#39;t you remember?

    well i guess ill go ahead and buy it ... if it works cool, if not then i can thow it back on ebay or use it for parts

    Surely you could persuade a 3½" coupling over a 3-9/16" TB....
