Hey my names Russ and I found this site yesterday. I've got an 86 C10 swb that will be getting an LS motor in the near future. I'd like to go with an alum block and LS1's are pretty plentiful. I'm trying to decide on fuel delivery. I may go with the Vic Jr carb intake or keep the fuel injection since i'll eventually be getting EFI live tuning for my LS1 Formula and Duramax. I'm still on the fence on whether to just keep the turbo 350 trans or not. Eventually a 4L80 will prob find its way in.
Right now the truck has a 355 and I recently had a custom hd alum driveshaft made before my LS1 plans so hopefully I can keep the demensions the same.
For now I guess I'll be browsing this forum alot and trying to not ask the same questions others have asked recently. Thanks.
Oh yea, for those of you on LS1tech I'm LS1BirdDRG but Goodys86 on the old truck boards.
