    alright guys im ready to start pricing all the stuff im gonna need from bumper to bumper including gears (i was looking at 4:10's), transmission, mounts all that stuff i have a 2005 rcsb silverado 1500. so if anyone could give me pointers on what i need id be apprecitative. i was thinking of buying the lq9 here!! and i think the transmission im gonna need is the 4l60e? not sure correct me if im wrong. but yes im creating a list. thanks.
    05 Chevy Silverado. Regular cab, short bed.

    - Sung Top tonneau bed cover.

    have you considered a 4l65e? Im not sure what the dif is with the 60e and 65e.

    no not yet but im open to it if its better than the 60 than im goin for it. what does ur ss have cuz id like to put the same transmission that the stock ss&#39;s have since im putting in the same engine. and then start modding from there.

    ohhh nice ya ill check that out real quick.

    My SS has a 65e under it.

    Planetaries are what actually make the gear changes. The rest is just clutches and apply pistons. It will mean you will have a strong set of gears in the transmission to handle more HP.

    ohhh ok good. i guess i should probably upgrade my rear brake too huh? i have drum.

    Why bother, ive seen sub 12 sec. 05 models with drum breaks.
