Thread: I wanted a 12.5 pass, I got a 11.87 @114

    WEll this LQ4 has takin me A LOT further than I had hoped. All I wanted was a 12sec truck. lol
    I hope to improve my times this weeked, or blow it up lol..
    I was able to get a 1.74 60' with a STOCK 4l80e converter. I'm hoping for 1.6's
    I also added another meth Nozzle to give me a bit more room to turn up the boost. (I run 12 psi now)

    Haulin Ass. I hope mine runs like that when I get the 3000 stall in. My stock stall in the 4L80E will not stall up like that, only 1500 rpm. The new stall will help me.

    I have a little tunning "trick" that helps the turbo spool and stall higher. I dump as much fuel as I can in the engine while staging, then have the A/F ratio snap back to 11.5 after I launch. it works realy well IMHO. I can brake stall up to 3200 rpm with the stock converter. but I can&#39;t get traction with the tires I have on it now. lol

    RedHeartbeat, I was at Infenion Raceway. They wanted a Fire suite is all. 11.5 and under needed a trans blaket, and 10.99 and under needed the cage along will a ton of other crap. lol
