Only one more Friday, this year, left of racing at Denton Dragway. Went last night and got a personal best on the sorriest track in the south. Ran a 8.490 at 80.98 MPH on the 1/8th. If I could only hook up this thing would fly! Now to install the new OE 4.10 gears and get the stand-alone fuel system so I can use the NOS!
Allen, took the truck to the dyno and they made four pulls. The AFR tune is right on.12.5-13.0 through the entire full pull. The guys can't keep my transmission in drive and the convertor locked up for some reason. When the transmission is in third gear and they floor it, the convertor unlocks. The dyno operator thought it was in 4th and shifted the 3rd and then unlocked. I am going to put a dead-man's switch to lock the convertor when on the dyno. The HP/TQ readings were all over the place because of the convertor. I know you love to hear this but I'm going to need another PCM for 4.10s in the near future.
Can you think of any settings to change in the tune to make the convertor stay locked in third and not unlock?
