Saturday I took my truck, that I had owned for 10 days, to the local track. It is only 1/8th mile, but I guess it kinda gives me an idea. My wife said I shouldn't race it at first, then when we got there, she said ok, and even took some pics for me. Here is my timeslip and a couple of pics:

This was my best time, but I also ran a 9.85 @70.92 and a 9.76@ 72.3. What do ya'll think my 9.75 will translate into on the 1/4 mile?

    One of my runs at 14.5 @ 94.1 mph in the 1/4 was a 9.3 @ 75.3 in the 1/8th. My best is a 14.31 @ 95 mph.....

I done some research here and gmfullsize. Most people with my 1/8 mile time are running between 14.8 to 15.0. I guess that isn't too bad for a exhaust only LQ9.

rule of thumb is 1.56 times your 1/8 mile time to compute your 1/4 times.

Not bad ay all...... I started with a 15.3 stock, 14.7 tuned, 14.3 with cam and stall. I can't wait to get to the track in this cooler weather. That 14.3 was in 90's

rule of thumb is 1.57, but with the weight and brick like of these trucks it translates better to a 1.58x9.75=15.40 or 1.57x9.75=15.30, either or good times.

I like the 1.56. Makes me faster.
