so im on dean keaton at a light a car back in the next lane from this 2000 or so ford truck 4door with what appears to be apparent hicks. i mean they had two tips exiting the corners of the truck and a rebel flag on the back window, so i just assume they are hicks .im just listening to my music to real loud and i can see his buddy looking at my truck in the side mirror. anyway these d-bags start powerbraking there sweet ass truck i guess trying to get my attention. i usually dont race too much during the afternoon because of the heat. but ive already had a shitty day at work and hate working the morning shift there, so i decided what the hell why not.

we both get onto the access road, and from there i get behind them at a light off of 35. theres a couple of cars in the next lane so i cant really get over. the light turns green and he flat out punches it attempting to lose me. after he gets on it pretty good im able to jump out into the next lane. im not going to say i slowly pulled this guy because i didnt. i flat out put him on his hands and knees and penetrated that piece of shit. as i was flying by at speeds that felt like WELL over 200 mph. (well it felt like it because his truck wasnt going anywhere except behind me.) i looked over and just gave a simple wave and kept on going to the freeway.

it wrapped up a good afternoon to a shitty morning.

yeah still got the 6 in the truck . its still running strong and what not. no problems thus far. but i got myself a job now and ive got big plans for this thing next summer. at least $6-8,000 worth of plans. (lq4, 4l65, stall, the whole works.) so sometime by the beginning of fall/end of summer next year it should be looking pretty good.

I know how that goes. You got to pay to play. It is an endless cycle. More money= more toys.

Maybe you ought to start making payments to Allen to buy his LQ4. By next year you could have it paid off and start doing your mods. Maybe you could make payments on a harness and PCM programming and when it comes time to install it, you will have it paid for before it's even installed. I wish I could say the same.

that was actually my first option. was buying that lq4 he had. but i was reading the thread on how it was for sale, and last i saw i thought he had a buyer for it. because shit if i had anything close to how much it was i would buy it so fast. i mean 1800 for that thing. thats basically the price/mileage im going to be looking for. but i mean first i owe like 1500 for the wheels and tires, so i need a month or so before i have some money in my account.

You know how it is, nothing is sold until the cash is in the hands of the seller. Many times he thought it was sold. I have the same problem with selling things. Everyone wants things, but nobody has the money.
