Not that I know of , bike drags are going on this weekend and a friend of mine has a suite there. I'm going to get it for a get together when I have some free time and maybe some of us can hook up. Marie Gay finally sold the rest of her part of the track back to Angel Bros, so there went my free National tickets.

I saw some pics at work of the roll cage on his car. Looks like he didn't have enough head room and when he hit the wall his head hit the roll cage. Let me see if I can find the pic again.

Found out from one of the guys that works for me( lives in Baytown) that there is talk about closing the track down after next years Nationals. They're discussing developing the land for new houses and building a track somewhere else. This isn't due to what happend to Rocky Keyes. Hope this doesn't happen but you never know.

Here's the pic. Look how close the roll cage is to his helmet.

That will suck that they shut it down for good and move it. The bad thing is that they will probably move it at least 30 miles further away from where it is. I remember last time I went to HRP I thought it was in a good place because all I could smell all the time I was there was the odors coming from the shipping channel and the refineries. I guess that's just something that people get used to.
