So the L92 is the LS7 engine?

The L92 actually the 6.2 L
The L92 is the current 07 Escalade 6.2 engine.
The LSA is a LYSHOLM supercharged L92.
The LS3 is a 6.2 litre performance version of the L92 which will replace the LS2.
The Corvette SS/Blue Devil will have the LS9 which is a LYSHOLM supercharged LS3.

I wonder what all it takes to use the L92 heads on a Gen3 engine.

Not too sure just yet but I know alot of people are looking into it.

As far as I know, they heads will bolt right on, however, you&#39;ll need a new intake that will accomodate the different angle of the heads.
The complete intake for the swap is less than &#036;500 as well, intake, 90mmtb, 40lb injectors, fuel rails.

I take it that the TB is electronic, not cable driven, so I can&#39;t use it.

no
the valves are way to big to work on a 5.3L bore much less a 5.7L bore.
you have to have at least a 4" bore block.
