    I have that article at work. This is the kind of equipment I work on everyday except our pistons are 36" in diameter and only put out 13,000 HP at 3200 psi hydrogen. They look fairly similar though. A reciprocating compressor is a reciprocating compressor no matter what size it is. This is pretty cool!

    I wish our equipment was that clean!! Looks like it might have aluminum bearings. A couple of our compressors with 17" journals ride on aluminum instead of steel backed babbitt.

    I think its way under powered "108,920hp with 1,556,002ci". Lets say the average LS1 is rated at 320hp@346ci and they built an LS1 to 1,556,002ci it would produce 1,439,076hp That means the LS1 would be 1320% stronger.... :flipoff: Ok so its getting late and im a little bored.

    Wow, babbitt. I think my 1951 Chevy 5-window truck had babbitt rods in it??? Original 215 CI Thriftmaster of course&#33;&#33;

    That thing turning at 6000 RPM would probably cause a seismic event.
