Thread: vette rear 02's for our headers

    It's common for heater codes on the front o2's with long tubes. Due to being further downstream and lesser heat retention of the headers. The applications for rear vette 02's have a larger/higher amp heater in them that seems to work in such cases.
    is anyone here using these on your headers...if so do you know which year model vette rear o2's are the ones for our headers....how about a part number....

    I do remember someone posted that up before. Its like a Bosch 18111 or something like that. It will be in the archives somewhere if not in the sticky pages for LS1 conversions.

    Got some deja vu reading that.

    I don&#39;t have them in the front. Even with my LT&#39;s I didn&#39;t throw codes with the stock front O2&#39;s. I did throw codes with the stock rear O2&#39;s and replaced them with the vette units. It cured the problem.

    03 Chevy ECSB, Z71, 6.0L(LQ4), Maggie @ 9PSI, 4l80E, PI Vig 2800, Detroit True-Trac, 4.10, 90mm LS2 TB, Meth Injection, HSW Dry N20, LPE GT7 Cam, 918 springs, Dynatech LT's, Hi Flow cats, custom stainless exhaust, DMH cutouts, DJM Suspension Drop, E-Fans, AirAid, HPT 2Bar SD Tuned, 11.68 @ 114.2

    do you still have your cats with your lt&#39;s....
    my passenger side front 02 was fubar so i looked at the model number and they were the same...all 4 of em...left the one in the driver side front in the header and took the pass side back one and replaced the front one....these p2a01 and p2a04 codes are pissing me off&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;cruising down the hiway at 75 and it will just pop up....i want them gone....so many answers im confused as to whats gonna make these codes disapear forever....

    Yes I still have cats. I never have gotten codes on the fronts. As you found all 4 02&#39;s are the same. To test if it is heat related try wrapping some header tape around the header in the 02 area?
