Waiting on Allen to return my voicemail about the new intake option. Figured I'd get his opinion before droppin the green on it.

Installing motor tomorrow. Patriot replaced my head FREE (even after the valve was busted by the piston pieces) super cool service guys. Yank TT3000 came in today!

Will put in new tune with the knock sensors "on". The old motor has stealth knock due to a bad thrust washer letting the crank "walk". so we turned em off cause we couldnt hear it (duh). therefore, lean, knock, detonation, oops $900 repair. all fixed now and we'll see if it can be tuned before it's broken again.

still dodgin' the dicks (some of you will get that one)

Glad to hear you got it back. Hey at least you dodged one dick by them replacing the head free! I'm sure Allen has been super busy setting up the new shop. I know he'll get back to you ASAP! Let us know how it turns out!

Hey I talked to him today. He was returning my call from monday so it might take him alittle while to get to your voicemail. He must be pretty busy with his new shop.

I ask him about that intake. He said that he was going to put one on his truck so you should be good to go on that.

Glad to hear you got her running again.

Great to hear you got it back together. $900 is not bad for a piston job, course the Patriot deed helped a lot.

Get the intake. Should I ever go turbo that will be first on the mod list. They have worked on millions of other small blocks before now. Only drawback I see is you would have better heat insulation with the polymer you have.

The good thing is that the intake is an air-gap design. If there is cooler air in the engine compartment, the intake will get cooled. Now, how do we get some cool air into the engine compartment? The cold air induction intake should cool the intake internally.
