Okay so i ordered a predator cause i wanna be able to mess with it myself and it should be here tomorrow...i guess on the new version you can turn the tm off if you want and do a lot more than you used to be able to...anyone have one and care to tell me how they like it? dont bother telling me about wait4me or nelson i already know...i just wanna know how much the driveability can change...i dont expect a lot of power out of it but i can turn off the tm now so that should be good? thoughts? opinions about this programmer?

Why did you decide to go with a predator instead of HPTuner? I hear it's a decent unit but very limited to what you can do with it vs the HPT and it costs almost as much as HPT.

i went with a predator over hptuners because i got the predator for 250 bucks...instead of the 501 list price...and it does everything i wanna do with it anyways...turns off tm, changes rev and speed limiters and i can mess with the timing a bit and i know vortec350 i should get a nelson but this is just a little something that i got until i get an ls1 or a 6.0...i should have just waited and invested in hptuners i know because it would be universal for both engines but i got this for a good price brand new so i took it

Have fun with it and let us know how it goes. You'll need to get you a baseline measurement on HP/TQ and 1/4 mile times. Also fuel mileage. Let us know how your improvements go.
