I'm about to change my oil & I was just wondering if any of you use an oil stabilizer such as Lucas, or know of any advantages or diadvantages to using one. Also what oil & filter are you guys running?

Castol GTX 5-30 oil and extreme duty Fram filter. If the cost of conventional oil keeps going up I'll be switching to full synthetics.

There is really no need to use one, just use a good quality oil and filter and change it reguarly. If you want the best use a full synthetic oil and good filter. You can also go longer intervals on synthetic. I run my M1 0w-40 synthetic 6k miles with a filter change at 3k, using ACDelco filters.
