    Seems my gas mileage has gotten way worse lately. Changed plugs to TR55's and fuel filter and used top engine cleaner....

    wtf would be making it go down besides my foot? I don't drive agressive all the time

    O2 sensors? It helped on my '99 after 11X,XXX miles

    Yes, the 02 sensors get lazy with high mileage and will lower fuel economy.

    Which ones? The rear ones aren't even turned on b/c of my cats being gone, so would I would replace just the front ones rite?

    My gas mileage has been really bad lately also, I just think its a case of winter gas mileage.

    It just seems like it happened overnight. I was getting around 400 miles a tank now its down to 230 or so

    Yeah, that sounds just like dead O2 sensors. Mine did that too until they were replaced. Driver side front unit checked good but wouldn't work worth a damn.

    I know these engines don't work well with Bosch plugs, but are their o2 sensors okay to use?

    how do you check it to see if its working.?
    And I know this is stupid, but if the fronts go bad, the rear ones arent turned on, could I swap them to the front to see if it makes a difference, or are they different kinds?

    I have never had any probs with bosch sensors. I agree on the plugs though.

    I think the problem with using the rears is going to be the length of the cable, I dont think they are long enough to be used in the front.
