    hey erbody i have a 05' chevy crew cab with the 5.3L and i ran it at the track. I did a 16.4@86.3mi i dunno if thats good or not but its completely bone stock...andi want to get in the 15.9 range which means i gotta lower my time by 5 tenths of a second...what can i do to achieve that sord of time..some quick mods

    I got 16.1 out of mine stock. I threw a magnaflow on it and had Allen tune real aggresive and got her down to 15.4. So I would say have Allen tune it first...then you'll get the bug and start throwing money at it.


    But for real....Nelson Tune, Exhaust and a Cold Air Intake are a good place to start

    sounds like he is setting a realistic goal.....unlike you squirrel who wants to run 11's with just 1 slick and race gas.....

    who's allen and is "real aggressive" the setting for your tune?...oh yeah and howd you do 16.1 i ran it like 3x and 16.4 was my best...but eh it is a crew cab...oh and 15.9 because its somewere to start then from there like you said ill get the bug! let me know about that tune and where i can get it for how much $$ thankx alot guys later

    I had an 05 CrewCab 5.3/3.73 I don't know how i got that time stock...some say i just know how to drive. i made one run in Jethro3's truck and knocked .5 off his best time. When I say Aggresive... I have him take all the Torque Management out and firms my shifts up really hard. Basically as Aggresive as he can tune it. I'm not sure on the price for an 05...i'm sure someone will chime in

    If you start now, it will not stop. It's a sickness. My crew cab runs mid 13's and I want it faster
    2013 2wd Z71 6.2 crew cab

    Old Truck: '04 Chevy crew cab stroked/bored 6.0 to 408ci. forged internals, patriot 68cc stage 3 heads (11.1:1cr), comp 244/246 .600 115lsa cam, 3000 yank tc, built 4L60E, walbro 255, 60# mototron injectors, pacesetter lt's 4" single no-cat exhaust

    best time 12.93 1/4 mi @ 103 in the turbo truck.

    can someone give me allens s/n or email addy...oh yeah squirel i think you got 16.1 cuz of those 3.73's mine doesnt have those, my crew came with 3.23's ....oh yeah and stssilverado DAYYMN dude your crew runs 13's, man id be happy with 14's flat let alone 13.4 seesh...sick truck though

    Allen is "THE" moderator Farmtruc. He's tuned so many trucks that he can get your PCM so close to correct the first time that it's scary. He does even better when you can get down to his shop and he can put you on the dyno.
