You can't use the lithium battery in there? I have cheap Ryobi stuff and the lithium plugs right in and works like a champ.

DeWalt does make a lithium battery that will work but it's a different configuration than the stuff I have (the 20v Max). So this will take the NiCad or the 18v lithium.
