Looking for an LS6 block for my friend with the Porsche 911 and 914. He just trashed the 675+HP motor in the 911. We might have found one for $600.00 but waiting to hear back. Ebay was right at $1000.00

    Thanks

Damn the luck. Have to be sure what year LS6 block you get. Some aren't so good.

Ya, you're right bro! We're hoping to find a 2002 or newer.

Cool, I'll ask Clem if he's intersted. I think he only needs a block though. Could you PM me a number for him to call you? He has a friend that's looking for an LS1 to go in another Porsche. Thanks

Do you know which pn block he got? Should be 12561168 or 12561166. Same part numbers from 2001-2004. 12-2003 mfg date and newer had a design change to short head bolts so be sure he knows which year block he has before trying to put head bolts in. He should be able to check the VIN number on the block to determine which year block he received.

Thanks for the input! He got part# 12561168. He should be good to go. Hell of a deal huh? This price didn't include shipping.
