    Still have some more stuff to do like alternator and the tb but i finally got it together. Hopefully drop it in the chassis tomorow

    That is schwanky! It's going to be a show piece that's for sure.
    No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

    I like it. Is the intake aluminum or did you just paint it silver? Wow, is that an old original HEMI in the background?

    its just a standard painted ls1 intake...but an ls6 intake is planned of I dont go supercharged.

    And yea thats an old hemi, just picked up our 3rd one yesterday. I think that is the 392 we got from a 57-58. Probably heading for one of our 37 ford coupes

    jimmy p, If you decide to keep that intake for now, S&P makes a cool plate with a plug for the air pump hole in the intake for $50 to $60 depending on if you want polished or chrome. You could even make your own as far as that goes. Just a thought.

    yea i might pick one of those up...the motor was supposed to have had one already but it got "lost" in shipping
