I was wondering if anyone could tell me How Fast I am Running @ 3,900 rpm in overdrive with stock gears and Stock Height tires on a 2000 Silverado extended cab with a 5.3 ? I will hopefully find Out Soon When I take My truck To Allen, But Till Then, I am Curious...., if the Numbers Dont seem right then its probably time For Junkyard Trans # 3!

Really hard to tell since some of it depends on how much your tires balloon out at high speeds. You're pushing a dangerous limit on stock tires at 130 mph. We still like you and would like to keep you here a while longer so please, get some speed rated tires for running that fast. Stock tires aren't rated for over 90 mph. I see you said stock height. Hopefully you have some tires safe for those speeds.

What he said, I think that's why i blew one out last weekend doing 80. It was a good thing it was in the rear. Oh yea try 4600 in OD.

What would 285/75/16 be rated at?

Thanks For The Concern, The Thought of a Rear Blowout With My Stepside Bed Mortifies me!!!,I do Have A Nice Wheel Tire Combo 275/60HR17's, But one Of the Rims is Bent and Discontinued, SOOO @ The Moment I am Running Ell Cheapo 255/70 LT16 Remington Wide Brute A/W 111 speed rating(they Were Free) On Cheap Factory Sized aftermaket Alloys.. I run sustained(hour-2hr+) Triple Digits every weekend Going From FT Sill Ok to Mexico And/or a Border Town Fairly Close To S.A.(585.37miles in 8-6.45 hrs Depending on Austin traffic&#33.. Event Free So Far, And yes They Baloon out, The Center is wearing Out kindof Rapidly.. Was Thinking Of Going With Bridgestone Dueler H/P 265/70HR16's,Can Someone Suggest A Better Tire This size or 255/70???, Also, Is There An aftermarket Speedo That Will Accurately Display My Speed?, Or am I limited to the Denali or Escalade Cluster?
