What Fuel Pump To Use For My C1500 LT1 Swap

Ok guys well the swap is finally complete so I thought. I drove the truck around for two days and backed into the driveway with her, after 24 hrs went out to take her for another spin and thats all she wrote she turns over but does not start. I believe it to be fuel due to the fact that if I continously pump the pedal she spits and sputters and if I turn the key and let the pump prime a couple of times when I finally due start it it cranks and dies right out. So the pump is from the stock chevy 1500 350 sbc, and I want a replacement pump so I can use the same tank and sending unit but I have done some research and have seen typhoon pumps, V6 Vortec pumps being used but was wondering if anyone can tell me the no kidding all BS aside pump I need that will last more than 300 miles. Thanx Oh LT1 outta 93 Z28
