if i was you i'd just buy a 6.0/6.2 and put in there....it's a little more costly but even the LS1's are costly. more cubes/more power/easier to install vs having sensors/reluctor rings/knock sensors moved. just saying... also...if you are going to void the warrenty just go with a front mount turbo and be done with it. then when the 4.8 pops slap a 6.0 in it![]()

You cannot put an LS1 in the 2007+ trucks due to the crank and cam signal, without a lot of expense to swap out the reluctor wheel, timing set and sensor. Don't waste your time trying to locate an LS1 for it. I think Gasguzzler knows someone with a late model Gen4 6L engine that needs a cam. PM him for information.
