    2010 gmc sierra 1500 4.8L looking for ls1

    hey gm lovers
    just bought my first gm loving it but looking for where the best deal to find an ls1 is. and if theres any tips or tricks i should know and what price range itll be costing me.

    if i was you i'd just buy a 6.0/6.2 and put in there....it's a little more costly but even the LS1's are costly. more cubes/more power/easier to install vs having sensors/reluctor rings/knock sensors moved. just saying... also...if you are going to void the warrenty just go with a front mount turbo and be done with it. then when the 4.8 pops slap a 6.0 in it

    You cannot put an LS1 in the 2007+ trucks due to the crank and cam signal, without a lot of expense to swap out the reluctor wheel, timing set and sensor. Don't waste your time trying to locate an LS1 for it. I think Gasguzzler knows someone with a late model Gen4 6L engine that needs a cam. PM him for information.
