my pacesetters wont work on my truck, they're hitting the lower control arms on my 98 Silverado, both sides. I need to know the best shorty or mid length headers for 99-04 2wd Silverados.

heres a pic for reference, so as long as they should clear where these are i should be ok.

I am going with S&P g-body headers. They are mid-length and are just a little over $500 coated. I called Hooker and they won't build us a set of conversion headers for LS1 into OBS trucks unless someone can guarantee them 1000 units sold. I mentioned that they build V8 Vega headers and doubt seriously they haven't sold 1000 sets of those headers in the last 10 years. The tech guy said I was probably right but they need a lot of interest to build us a set for conversions. I guess it's a good thing I cancelled my order for a set of the pacesetters. I was tired of waiting for them, 4 weeks and 2 more to go with no certainty that the order would be filled then.

jimmy, they were hitting at the front of that front primary right as it bends to the collecter..on both sides. no pics but apparently he had the motor jacked up and the passenger side wasnt even close, cab clearance is fine im almost positive. i havent looked into hookers or mac's cuase i have no clue who sells them for 99+ trucks, ive never looked into 99+ header systems.
