    LT1 intake manifold, usuable condition.

I'm looking for an LT1 intake to use in a project. My future father in law has a 99 5.7L vortec that has been causing all sorts of fuel injection issues. I came up with the idea to convert an LT1 intake to a dist. type engine config. and install an LT1 water pump as well. Anyways, i need and intake manifold to start with.... So yeah. I want it cheap, it will probably get destroyed with the machining involved. So i don't want to feel very guilty about modifying it.

Not the reverse flow setup, please. There is a standard carb type replacement intake made to fit the Vortec heads.

i'm not even going to play with the water pump now that i've seen how it works. But yeah, this is a fuel injected 99 suburban. Carb conversion would be too much trouble.

They're setup with the weird ass setup like 4.3 right? Is there a marine manifold and injector setup for the 350? Can't see why there wouldn't be.

There is a marine manifold, but they are very hard to find, extrememly expensive when you do find one, and they weigh about 100 pounds.

Why not use a TPI set up instead of the LT1. You can get a TPI base made for the Vortec heads and you wouldn't have to change the water pump or distributor setup.
