Post FS Nelson Performance custom grind cam

This is a Nelson Performance cam shaft that is proven to put down good numbers. I am going a different route right now so I decided to pull this one out.

Its a 228/230 on a 112 lsa, very streetable. I DD the truck and it was able to run a 12.01 @ 114 and still get 15-16 mpg. I could keep up with cars that trap 117 no problem.

I am asking $200 for it or OBO.

And for those who don't know I am out of Austin TX

The cam has about a total of 6,500 miles on it, I just put it in Jan of 2010 and purchased it with less then 2k miles on it. Lift is .588/.591

Same cam i have in the GTO, probably one of the best cams out for the 6L. I bet it'd do awesome in a 5.3L as well, or a 4.8L that wanted to be crazy!

this was such a popular cam for us to install when the GTO came out that a lot of guys chose this cam, then later decided on a tvs,112,aps turbo setup, but didn't change the cam.
so, to answer your question, it worked pretty good in a FI application. The last gto we did had this cam, 8psi and headers, laid down a respectable 590hp in the end.

the aps gto we did had this cam as well, and it was stronger than the aps, but we never dyno'd it.

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
