I am in the middle of swapping a 2005 LQ9 into my 1979 Silverado. It has been a bit of an uphill climb. A lot of what I am doing, from exhaust to the new fuel tank has had to be custom.

I am ready to run the fuel lines and I have a problem. It appears that the fuel rails only have one line going to them with no return line. Of course my GM fuel pump/sender has three lines, in, out and evap. Where have I gone wrong or what am I missing?? I am starting to think the left fuel rail is incorrect? I am not even sure about pressure regulation??

    Thanks.

Use a late model Corvette fuel filter. It has a built in fuel pressure regulator. You run a supply line to the filter and a return back to the tank. The opposite side of the filter goes to the fuel rail. Very simple. You're on the right track. Don't be afraid to ask question. As the say, there are no stupid questions.

Wix filter number 33737 I believe.
