    Second interview tomorrow!

So, some of you might know I go up North to school, specifically at Maine Maritime Academy... well, I'm in Power Engineering Technology and my degree usually has an EXCELLENT job placement rate (99.9% or so)... up until the whole economy thing, of course. Lately, it's been super hard to find even potential jobs. I had an interview with a company last night that does HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) inspections and I got a callback today for a second interview tomorrow. A job lineup for graduation in May would mean a new truck and plenty of go-fast parts! Anyways, sorry for the ramble, just wanted to vent!

Good luck have you check with Cheoust yet. They are booming right now. Have new boats hitting the water every month.

Our program is more shore-based, my knowledge base is with power plants (coal-fired, combined cycle, etc.) so I don't know a whole lot about the shipping industry. However, you were correct in that our college has a TON of people that go into that industry. Thanks for the suggestion though, if you hear of any power plants needing people, send them my way!

I know what you mean, I'm hoping this stops after the third interview, it's a pretty small company (30 people) so they're sending the CEO up to interview me... nervous...
