I just got the 5.7 in the truck and wow there is a huge diffence in the 5.7 compared to the 4.8. The motor has diamond pistons and callies h beam rods so it should be able to handle a few pounds of boost
With my whipple and 3.5 inch pulley i am seeing 8psi . I ported and polished the heads and had bigger valves installed so they should flow a little beter. I installed a 4l80e also so it should hold up preety good. Allen did the tune for the tranny and motor and let me tell you what he hit this tune right on the dot. The motor pulls really hard and the tranny shifts as if it had a shift kit in it.
Allen is also makin me up a 3 inch pully for my whipple so maybe i will see 12psi.
