Why I'm selling the truck...my "truck future"...

My wife and I are making some serious efforts to move to Boise, ID. We've vacationed there multiple times and have been trying to move there for a while. Between the lousy economy and the real estate market, things haven't worked out. Things are starting to turn around though and when we move there, I need something more suitable to snow, hilly terrain, back-mountain roads, etc. My truck won't cut it and I can't afford to keep it and get something else.

It's run it's course. I've built it up, driven it every day to work for a couple/few years now, and currently can run a very low 11 second 1/4 mile and still dependably drive it to work with no issues. I feel like it's "mission accomplished" and am ready (and need to) move on.

I appreciate everyone's concern, input, suggestions, etc. but it's just time.

I'm wanting to get either a 2500HD with a Duramax or a 6.0l so I'll likely still be on the site.

That's a shame Moze but I totally understand your situation. I don't imagine Lucille would have very good winter street manners in ID. When would the move happen?

We're hoping sometime this year. It's a logistics thing...selling the house, finding jobs, finding housing, etc.

Looks awesome. I would move too if it wasn't cold and there were no cedar trees. LOL.. Looks like Beka and I might have a new place to visit..."hint hint". Are you there yet?

Well, was going through the pics and wondered where the guy on the rope bridge's banjo was. Next I saw pics of sheep and the light came on, now we know why you're Idaho bound.

    Cool pics.
