    ls1 heads?

    i need the torque specs for heads on a ls1
    please and thanks...

    final torque is 70 ft lbs if not mistaken

    think its like 30 first go round then 50 second then final 70

    this is for ARP bolts


    nevermind the ls1howto got ya covered

    follow the "howto" specs. If using GM original bolts, new, never reuse them, they are what is know as torque to yield bolts and are only good for one use. You torque them to a specified value and then turn them a certain amount of degrees of rotation to stretch the bolt to a predetermined amount.
