Stock 6.0 heads flow more than stock LS1/5.3 heads so there's not really a reason IMO to mess with them at this point unless you're going balls out.

Cam is dependant on what you're trying to achieve...

You will want a set of LQ9 heads due to their larger compression volume than a LS6 head. 64.5cc in a LS6 and 72cc in the LQ9. Lower compression is better for forced induction build-ups. You will recognise the LQ9 head as PN 12572035 or 035 casting number and D-shaped exhaust ports similar to the LS6 #243 head. The head is not as good as a LS6 for performance without the blower since the smaller compression dome gives you more compression and HP. The intake and exhaust port volumes and the valves are identical between the LS6 and the LQ9 heads, the LQ9s are just not on steroids like the LS6 heads. You are correct to want to use the LQ9 heads for your supercharged application. The LQ9 heads are found on 2002+ 6.0L and the HO version 2001 Escalades.

    Good hunting!!!

There is no reason to replace the stock heads that you already have. My buddies friend has a EX cab silverado with a 5.3. He's done new pistons, cam, procharger, and bought a very expensive set of Ligenfelter 6.0 ported heads. He actually lost power when he installed the heads (Long story short he burned up the number 7 piston orginally with the supercharger) So he put back on the stock 5.3 heads and is making a hair over 500 rwhp.

As far as a good supercharger cam goes the 212/218 high lift on a 114 lobe.

I think we are gonna go with a custom grind camshaft. I can't belive these heads flow so good. I guess I am just usta the old way of more power = heads, cam, intake, exhaust....... That would be why I was looking to switch everything out. This should have the LQ9 head, it is a 2001 6.0 in a escalade???? So maybe some port work, and call it a day, or don't even bother taking them off?
The goal here is a to have a 12's truck. It has gone 14.16@97 mph. with a 2.2 60ft. That was with a P1sc procharger making 8 psi. The trans has just been built, and a 3200 stall has been installed. The truck leaves like a monster now. I am guessing about 2-3 tenths in the 60ft. which should be around .5 in the 1/4. I have been talking to allen over at nelson performance, and I am going to have him do a retune with the T/M taking out, and a couple other things. I am going to ditch the FMU, for 42 pound injectors, Long Tube headers, with a custom catback, going to 10psi pulley, and thats is where doing a cam and heads cam into play. So I am open for any other suggestion on how to get it where I'd like it to be for this guy?

I'd consider upgrading the valve train... lighter valves from the Z06 can be snagged cheap, Ti retainers, and some 918 springs. That'll help it rev... Port work isn't worth it IMO man. It's money better spend on ARP rod and head bolts.

If you got a bit more stall, you could get a better 60' time. 2.2 isn't too good, unless it's on street tires. The Procharger makes more boost as the RPMs rise.

Bigger intercooler is a good thing too...

AGAIN - cam is dependant on the powerband you want...

If you want to get into the 12s with a full size truck you are going to need to put some serious boost to it. Don't forget that 15 lbs of boost with a turbo is free horsepower vs 15 lbs of boost with a supercharger that consumes hp to make hp. Sell the charger and go turbo or add some NOS to get the hp up there. You're going to need somewhere around 500 hp to get into the 12s. Don't forget to take everything out or off the truck that is dead weight when racing. There's some kind of equation of 100 lbs equal .1 seconds on the strip.
