i have a 0''-to-12'' box set, excellent price though, as a machinist i should know, they are super handy and alot mroe reliable than dial calipers. definately a great investment and an important part of any mechanics toolbox.

yeah, I can teach you how to read a micrometer. Its really very simple but also easy to mess up and miss by .025"Professionals do it all the time. I always measure critical items with calipers first and then split hairs with the mic.
