Easy win STRANGE problem

Had some jacked up NNBS CC trying to race me yesterday. Well after trying to race me in town he rode my bumper all the way out of town. So I decide hey... why not. Turned on the bottle and when it looked like he was feeling spunky I floored it and so did he. By 120 I was probably a good 12 lengths on him. Which then a the problem showed up. Bout the time It hit 115/120 the speedo starts bouncing and my SRS/ ABS lights come on and my screen reads service brakes system soon. I go on to the house and cut the truck off and back on and its back to normal. Does anyone else have this problem?

you need to replace the parking brake shoes. mine did that and then would not come on and then all of a sudden come back on while driving, but my parking brake had just started squeakingthe second or third time it came on.

Nope, I don't have that problem, nobody tries to race me, that or maybe I'm just ignoring them.

How does the parking brake shoes have anything to do with the ABS. There is nothing that ties them into the computer.

My Parking brake is actually disconnected. Didnt work so when I got the rear end rebuilt I just left it unhooked...
ANYBODY kno what this is. This last time it did it the srs when away but the abs stayed awhile

Sounds like a wheel speed sensor problem.

Where is this sensor located and how easy for me to fix it. It is getting annoying. Last thing you like to see at 120 is a bunch of lights saying whats SUPPOSED to stop you isnt working

IAN this happens to me just about everytime i really hammer down on it especially spraying, it never causes any problems that ive seen and it goes away once the truck is restarted usually sometimes it takes a bit.

Mine always comes on in the winter for some reason, ABS is coming on unnecessarily a lot now. I think the two are connected, so wheel speed sensors probably for me, never a code though.
