    Possible daily driver

    ok well i think i found me a DD its a 01 ford f150 short wide but the only thing is it needs a engine and tranny what do you guys think have yall ever pulled the motor out of one of these and if so how hard was it

    Junkyard 5.3 milled heads 200 shot, built 4l80e with circle D 4000 multi disc converter

    absolute nightmare... helped by buddy do a 98 v-6 to v8 swap and it sucked balls dude. never again will i touch one.

    by buddy had an 03 FORD CCSB with the small V8 (4.6or7?) and that thing got like 12-13 anywhere.... im sure your truck should get somewhere close to that? lol not worth it in my opinion...the new twin turbos require the cab to be removed to replace them... i could only imagine these were just as stubborn

    i can get the truck for free it already has a v6 in it and that will be what goes back in i awas just wondering if it may be worth it

    The 4.2 V6 gets worse mileage than the 5.4.
