brought the car to the apartment...

since mom is getting a new roof put on her house i had to move all my junk around so it wouldnt get hit by flying debri. we shoehorned the 86 around back and coverd it up and i brought the 82 to the apartments. this is the first time the car has been moved since october i was kinda afraid id have more issues than i did but it wasnt too bad. the trans slipped a few times on the way over since its been slowly leaking fluid from a mystery leak and the gear selector cable is fubared so bad i have to pull the shifter plate off every now and then to help find gears. i changed the oil and got that straight 50wt out of it finaly ans good thing i did cause it was really low too . anyway here is a clip with the new exhaust with the cutout closed!! you guys are hearing it first!!! even before my fellow 3rdgen guys over at thirdgen.org. its idling a little high but the exhaust is hedman lts custom ory 3.5in i pipe with cutout then 3in over the axle into a 2002 t/a stock muffler/tail/tips. enjoy.

I feel your pain, those Pontiac shifters are a pain in the buttocks. I put the 4spd converstion plate in mine and it works like a champ, especially since I converted to a 2004r.

Yeah ive got a bunch of little issues to fix on it this week. Im gona try to sleave the part of the cable that is broken to see if it will work until i can find a new one. Best i got it to run in the 1/8 with this motor was a poor 9.7 but @ 78-79mph it needs a converter tires suspension work and some major tunning. Hoping to get it down in the high 8s before i drop in the stroker

Lol i got 10.5 in the yukon xl with a intake lol but the car weights like 3100lbs has a th350 3.73s alum ds and it is only a cammed 305 but was built around another build that went 13.00 in the 1/4. I did find some slack in the throttle cable yesterday though saw it when i was messin with the carb then took it out and went wot then basicly stod on it as hard as a could and it picked up a considerable amount. Once i get the lil bugs out and throw in my 3500 converter and some tires i think i can get it to scoot a little better. Hopin for low 7s to high 6s with the stroker though. Gota get my cage kit welded in too lol
